Our Little Frog

Cousin Ava came over to help pass out candy and play with Owen on Halloween. He didn't sit still very long, but he had lots of fun playing.

He's such a funny guy. I brought out the camera and he gave me this huge smile. He's the cutest little frog I've ever seen.

Daddy and Owen passed out candy ... well, Owen just tried to run outside every time we opened the door but he still had fun. We set a new family record: 221 trick-or-treaters!

Vacation at Maranatha

We went up to Maranatha for a week of relaxing in August. It was fun to spend time all together as a family. Owen loved the swings, crawling in the sand and saying "hi" to all the people he saw. It was lots of fun. We might have to make this an annual visit.

Owen and daddy spent a lot of time on the swings - one of Owen's favorite things to do, I think he's going to like roller coasters.

I caught him mid-conversation with someone. He loved watching the older kids - the cutest thing was when he was swinging next to some middle school kids and started "talking" to them like they were his new buddies. He's definitely not shy around new people.

Mid-flight - I'm sure if he could talk he'd say "Higher daddy, higher!"

Here he is playing in the condo. He loved this little table and kept pulling out the drawer at the top. His other favorite was opening the cupboards to the DVD player, he's getting pretty mobile now and he's super fast.

All in the Family

4 Generations - Owen, Me, Grampy and Great-Grandma. We went out to dinner for Great-Grandma's 90th birthday. She's 90 and still going strong!

I love this pic of Owen and Ben - they have so much fun playing together, Owen is always so excited to spend time with daddy at the end of the day.

9 Months

This is my absolute favorite pic of Owen at 9 months. He loves playing peek-a-boo and crawling around - he's such a fun baby.

Yay we're at Disney! Our first "family" vacation to Disney. Ben and I volunteered a day of service and got 2 free tickets to Disney so we spent a day in the Magic Kingdom. Owen had fun people watching - he was such a trooper and stayed up until 9pm!

Owen and great-grandma Wickstra at their condo in Florida. We went to visit them in April and he had lots of fun!

Yay for swimming! Owen loves the water, although I think he enjoys the lakes and oceans more than the pool.

March - 8 months already!

Daddy and Owen love feeding the squirrels in our backyard. Daddy named one of them "Steve" so it's fun to watch Steve eat corn.

Mmmmm ... green beans for dinner:) He's a good eater and not too picky so we can't complain. His favorites right now are cauliflower, eggplant and any type of fruit.

Yay for bathtime! This is mommy's favorite part when she gets to cuddle with Owen wrapped up in the duck towel.
