9 Months

This is my absolute favorite pic of Owen at 9 months. He loves playing peek-a-boo and crawling around - he's such a fun baby.

Yay we're at Disney! Our first "family" vacation to Disney. Ben and I volunteered a day of service and got 2 free tickets to Disney so we spent a day in the Magic Kingdom. Owen had fun people watching - he was such a trooper and stayed up until 9pm!

Owen and great-grandma Wickstra at their condo in Florida. We went to visit them in April and he had lots of fun!

Yay for swimming! Owen loves the water, although I think he enjoys the lakes and oceans more than the pool.

March - 8 months already!

Daddy and Owen love feeding the squirrels in our backyard. Daddy named one of them "Steve" so it's fun to watch Steve eat corn.

Mmmmm ... green beans for dinner:) He's a good eater and not too picky so we can't complain. His favorites right now are cauliflower, eggplant and any type of fruit.

Yay for bathtime! This is mommy's favorite part when she gets to cuddle with Owen wrapped up in the duck towel.

February Fun

Happy Birthday Grammy! Owen & Mommy went to Grammy's school to surprise her at lunch on her birthday. Owen didn't really know what to do with all those kids but they all loved him:)

Yay! Mommy and Owen love cuddling and have lots of fun together.

One of Owen's favorite parts of the day is when Daddy comes home from work and they play together. They have lots of fun together and it always involves laughter and big smiles.

He's so cute! I just love his smile:)

California baby!

Chillin' in the airport before our flight to California - you'd never know he'd been up since 4am. He was more awake than any of us! Luckily he slept on the plane:) We went to California so Ben could stand up in a wedding for one of his college friends.

Our first swim! The weather wasn't swim-worthy, but hey we're from Michigan and 55 degrees feels warm to us in January :) We didn't swim long, but he did enjoy it - we're excited for this summer and lots of pool time!

Relaxin' in the hotel in his swimming trunks (they came with a built-in diaper!). Mommy and Owen spent a lot of time relaxing in the hotel room while daddy helped set-up the wedding. Owen loved rolling around on the big bed and did a great job the whole trip. We didn't stick around long after the wedding but it was still a fun adventure.
